Terms & Conditions for Exhibitors and Traders 2027

Events such as our Rally, by the nature of what they are, include traction engines, tractors, cars, bikes, and other moving or hot machinery which can be dangerous. The Organiser (SSVCL), through the Safety Committee, has taken every reasonable step to ensure your safety, and you should appreciate that you have a duty of care to take any reasonable step to protect yourself
and others as well.

We do not intend to dictate how you should behave and spoil your enjoyment of the Rally, but
we must outline the specific steps that we have taken to protect you and need you to comply
with. If you need assistance, speak with a steward or the personnel at the main gate or announcer’s caravan. We can contact relevant services as appropriate.No movement of exhibits or exhibitor’s / traders’ vehicles will be allowed during the Rally
opening hours unless accompanied by a steward. Where vehicles / exhibits do move; the speed should be restricted to 5 mph. It may be necessary for officials’ or emergency vehicles to exceed the above speed limit inappropriate circumstances. Warning lights, horns or sirens may be used.

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, and South Yorkshire Police may be in attendance; however, the on-site security, emergency team and first-aid services provide the initial response to any
incident on site.

Where vehicles or machinery are moving, or potentially dangerous in any other way, we will
take steps to rope-of f, guard or restrict access to such dangers. Members of the public must
remain outside any fenced-off areas. No persons are allowed in the main arena unless announced over the public address system, and with appropriate supervision in place.

Please comply with instructions from the stewards. They are there to look after your well-being.

Please keep a watch over your children. Lost children will be taken to the command centre (at
the main gate) pending collection.

Please keep dogs on a lead, and clean up after them. Please put rubbish in the bins provided.

If you have a particular question or concern, the names and contact details of the relevant
people are available from the Rally Secretary.

On the days of the Rally, stewards and safety officers will be in contact with each other and the announcer by means of portable radios.

Whilst provision for public car parking has been made available, the Organisers’ accept no
responsibility for any loss or damage to or from any vehicles whilst left unattended in the car
parking area, or whilst driving into or from the parking area.

For public safety, the riding of bicycles (or electrically powered scooters) on site is prohibited at all times.
